The route begins in the parking lot of Corrales de las Tornadizasnear Formigal, and crosses alpine meadows, small streams and grazing areas before reaching the ibón. The views of the Tena Valley and surrounding peaks make the effort worthwhile. In addition, on a clear day, you can enjoy unparalleled panoramic views of the Pic du Midi d’Ossau.
